Glenelg BBQ Inn Steakhouse

The Glenelg BBQ Inn Steakhouse is located further down Jetty Road than most other restaurants, but this unique BBQ Steakhouse is still worth a visit!


They specialise in barbecued grain-fed and perfectly aged meats from eye fillets, porterhouse, rump steak, rib eye, and t-bone steaks, ranging from 250 grams to 450 grams. All these steaks are served with two chevapchichi (barbecued sausages) and a choice of either a traditional or garden salad.

They also offer mixed grill meals featuring four different types of meats as well as mixed platters for two. For lighter meals, chicken breasts, loin pork and lamb chops, and prawn shashlick (on a skewer) are available. These all also include salad and two sausages on the side. Beef and chicken burgers are also served, perfect with a side of chargrilled capsicum or some potato wedges. There is also a kids menu, making this the perfect restaurant for the whole family.

The restaurant layout and decoration is unique and modern, with black tiled walls and floor-to-ceiling glass windows. A huge charcoal grill welcomes you by the front door, where bystanders walking past can be tempted by the perfectly grilled meats.

The meals are adequately portioned but be sure to let them know how you like your steaks done as you may sometimes find it a bit overcooked.

We recommend the porterhouse steak with garden salad, lamb chop mixed grill, and potato wedges.
