Old Rooms Become New

There have been a lot of upgrades going on at the Atlantic Tower over the last couple of years. It all started with the upgrade of our 9th to 11th floor rooms with balcony, then the introduction of our flagship Premium Spa Rooms.
For the last two months however, we have been refurbishing our 1st floor standard rooms. These rooms have been completely stripped and re-built them from the ground up featuring all new modern fixtures and fittings.
We are very excited about the new rooms, a lot of thought has gone into the design and features so that not only are these rooms completely modern and full of the latest technology, but they are extremely energy efficient as well.
The most exciting feature of these new rooms is the brand new 40” Samsung LED TV’s equipped with convenient MediaHubs accepting HDMI/USB/AV/PC and Audio input connections. This will allow guests to be able to connect their laptop, smartphone, camcorder or a USB stick to the TV for video and audio playback. This is on top of being able to watch all the free to air digital channels on the big screen, or the 10 free channels of Foxtel. The rooms will also have new carpet, new furniture, brand new bathrooms with stone vanities and Methven fittings, LED lighting, and more...
Considering these rooms will now be anything but standard, we have decided a name change is in order! As of today, all our 1st floor rooms will be known as Atlantic Rooms, and all our 9th to 11th floor rooms with balconies will be known as Tower Rooms.
Once we have finished with the 1st floor rooms, we will be refurbishing the last of our 10th floor rooms. This part of the upgrade will include two more Premium Spa Rooms, two more Tower Rooms and two brand new Disabled Access Tower Rooms. We will also be outfitting every room with Samsung 40” LED TV’s.
The first of the new Atlantic Rooms will be online from Monday, so whatever type of accommodation you’re looking for in Glenelg, you’ll find it at the Atlantic Tower Motor Inn.
