North Indian is a favorite among locals for its extremely affordable yet great tasting dishes - it is often seen with long lines along Jetty Road.

This fast-food restaurant offers an array of choices for your favourite curry-rice combination, served in different sized plates or tupperwares (takeaway) as well as delicious naan, samosas and pappadums to accompany your meal.

Meal prices range from $5.60 for a small curry and rice (includes any 3 meat curries) to $9.20 for a large. Their curries also include a spice guide, from mild to hot, making it perfect for those who can and can’t handle their spice.

 
Servings are generous and the service is usually very fast due to the quick turnover. They also serve lassis (a yoghurt drink) in mango, plain and rose flavours - a great complement for spicy meals.

Vegetarian options are also available.

We recommend the butter chicken and rice (mild), garlic and/or cheese naan, and mango lassi.
