Fourth Glenelg

On the first day of the decade, fourth Glenelg launched a brand new bar and restaurant right on Jetty Road.

Why is it called that? According to their website, the 'brothers are the "fourth" generation business owners on Jetty Road'. 

Trading as a bar at night serving fresh cocktails, boutique wines, craft beers, and an extensive range of whisky and gin, they also have an all-day summer menu. This features fusion-style small plates consisting of dishes like oysters, coconut fried chicken and dumplings, as well as a large plate list including ragu beef gnocchi, sword fish steak and dry aged rib eye.

Otherwise, they also have a breakfast and lunch menu with not only traditional favourites like eggs benny, smashed avocado, baked goods and sandwiches, but also interesting combinations like a chicken katsu sandwich and a seared Port Lincoln tuna bowl. The ingredients used in their dishes are sources as much as possible locally, and the menu changes every season. 

After dinner and food services finish, the lights are dimmed and the music is turned up, turning the restaurant into a cocktail bar until 1am. 

The restaurant interior is bright, modern and timeless, with a casual ambience that encourages all types of people, especially in groups, to feel comfortable.
