Bracegirdles House of Fine Chocolate

Found on Jetty Road, Bracegirdles is a cozy dessert parlour and cafe, perfect for couples, friends, singles and families alike.

The menu consists of a breakfast and lunch menu (served all day), hot and cold drinks, and desserts. Though their breakfast/lunch menu may be quite limited to mostly toast and croissants, their omelette and sandwiches are a must try. Their hot drinks consist of the usual range of coffee and tea, but their hot chocolate list is unique - try the Chili Hot Chocolate, despite how it may sound, or their Short Chocolate. Regardless of what you get, their hot chocolates are one of a kind with their decadent and extremely rich textures. During the summer, try one of their coffee, chocolate, peanut butter or fruit frappes for the ultimate refreshment.

The dessert menu can be overwhelming with the amount of choices you have. Choose from an array of cakes, ice cream flavours, or fondues, most of which include fruit, and, of course, showcase their famed Bracegirdle’s chocolates.

Not only does the counter boast of their dozens of chocolate of all shapes and flavours, but the wall behind and near the front counter is also covered with an impressive range of chocolates and other small sweet treats, including a chocolate fountain! There are also wrapped chocolate packages and some tea cups and mugs, all of which are perfect for gifting a loved one. The cafe also has an upstairs eating area with a balcony to enjoy a coffee above the busy street of Jetty Road.

We recommend the turkey and cranberry sandwich, chili hot chocolate, chocolate trio, and raspberry mud cake.
